About the event
Order of events
- 0930-1000 meet up and ensure required items are present
- 1000-1030 arrive at range
- 1030-1100 into to TASKDEV organization and overview of the day, TASKDEV personnel, and mission, including safety brief
- 1100-1200 “classroom portion” basic gun safety, dryfire critiques. Gear evaluation (PCC/PCI)
- 12-1300 basic pistol fundamentals live fire
- 1300-1400 basic carbine fundamentals live fire
- 1400-1600 basic rifle and pistol drills and one on one coaching
- 1600-1700 questions, group photo, TASKDEV event item (TBD) distributed, networking
- 1700-1800 food and clean up
Required items by those attending
- Magazine fed pistol with three mags
- Belt, holster, and two mag pouches
- Carbine with sling and minimum two mags with one belt-mounted mag pouch or chest rig/ plate carrier (optional)
- 200 rounds for each platform
- Eye & Ear protection
- Pants no shorts
- Active style shoes or boots
- Water & Snacks
